Enjoying Tea for Two (or One or Three)
on the Garden Veranda in AR

On the second Tuesday of every month, visitors with reservations can merrily join a tea party on the garden veranda at Garvan Woodland Gardens. Located within Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs, AR, the gardens serve tea at 3 p.m., complete with all the fixings -- specialty teas, delectable scones, finger sandwiches and rich desserts.
Each monthly tea party has a theme:
* March 13: "Bit O'Blarney"
* April 10: "Derby Tea"
* May 8: "Blooms A'Brewin"
* June 12: "Tea With Verna"
* July 10: "Red Hat Tea"
* August 14: "Teddy Bear Tea"
* September 11: "Savannah Tea"
* October 9: "Spooky Tea"
* November 13 : "Victorian Tea"
* December 11: "Holiday High"
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tea will be served in the Millsap Bride's Hall. The tea party tickets are $13.02 for gardens members and $16.27 for the general public. Seating is very limited, though, so make reservations early. Call 501-262-9300 or 800-366-4664.
