Greater Fort Lauderdale Unveils
New Dining App for Visitors
Greater Fort Lauderdale has introduced a new Fork Lauderdale Dining App designed to help both locals and visitors enjoy the area's diverse restaurants and cafes.
Release of the Greater Fork Lauderdale application comes in time for Dine Out Lauderdale, a six-week, $35 prix fixe and three-course promotion that runs Oct. 1 through Nov. 8; it culminates with the new Flavors of Fort Lauderdale culinary event from November 8 – 11.
With 43 top restaurants throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale offering specially created, three-course dinners, the new app helps create a memorable culinary journey through the Dine Out menus, taking your taste buds on a mouthwatering adventure.
“The Fork Lauderdale Dining App means never having to worry about your next great meal,” said Nicki Grossman, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. “It’s the ideal planning tool to dial up our culinary promotions and find the perfect match for your taste du jour.”
Designed for those who want to explore the culinary and nightlife scene in Greater Fort Lauderdale, an enhanced GPS and advanced filters allow tech savvy visitors to spin the dial and easily locate restaurants, bars and clubs.
Visitors might choose from Sunday brunch to rocking happy hour spots, gaming eateries and everything in between. The app serves up tasty suggestions and insider tips from locals and reviews from fellow patrons.
Available free in the Apple App Store, Greater Fork Lauderdale is the third visitor App created by Greater Fort Lauderdale and follows the success of Defrost Your Swimsuit and iVisitLauderdale Apps.
